The two Inuit dolls came from the estate of Anne Harvey who was daughter of Albert and Vera Perlin and sister to John Perlin and George Perlin.
It was said that they were purchased by  George Perlin, who worked for a time the Hudson Bay Store in Nain Labrador just before 1950 and it is assumed that he acquired these dolls at that time and gave them to his sister . The dolls were made by Grenfell Labrador Industries.

The male doll measures 20.5 in in height and the female doll measures 19.5 in in height
