1940s-1950s Vintage Lustro Ware Red & White Canister Set
These kitchen canisters, from Lustro Ware, for coffee, tea, sugar, and flour are great additions to any kitchen, especially if you are going for a retro look. Their simple design yet eye-catching color and text make them great items to display, use, and collect. They conveniently nest if you need to store them away!
LUSTRO-WARE was made by the Columbus Plastic Products Division of The Borden Chemical Company. I see the trademark was filed August 23, 1950, although it's safe to say in the late 1940's it was being produced with "patent pend" stamps on it.
Flour Jar marked "Size No. 113" - 8" tall
Sugar Jar marked "Size No. 112" - 7.5" tall
Tea Jar marked "Size No. 110" - 6" tall
Good vintage condition with some scratches and minor loss of paint in the lettering. The sugar jar does have a crack, as shown in pictures.Canister Set
