Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Newfoundland is a local charity that has been supporting young people in the metro St. John’s area for 50 years. Each year, we empower more than 450 children and youth through life-changing mentoring relationships that build confidence, strengthen resilience, open doors to new opportunities to ignite their potential.

Our work is grounded in a simple belief: when young people feel seen, heard, and supported, their potential is limitless. Through a network of carefully screened volunteer mentors, evidence-based programs, and strong community partnerships, we create meaningful connections that help young people thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
