Registrants will receive a link to a special Virtual Cocktail Hour, taking place online at 7:30pm on Monday April 12. In this special pre-auction event, sommelier Jeremy Bonia (Raymond’s, The Merchant Tavern) will lead you through the preparation of the Tuckamore Festival signature cocktail, designed by Jeremy for the occasion. About the Tuckamore Festival The Tuckamore Festival hosts one of Canada's premiere educational programs for pre-professional string players, pianists, and composers. Started in 2001 by Artistic Directors Nancy Dahn and Timothy Steeves, the festival’s Young Artist Program brings talented young artists and composers from across Canada and beyond to our province to practice, study, and perform. Faculty artists mentor young musicians and composers throughout a two-week mid-summer program. Outstanding guest artists from around the world arrive in St. John’s to coach these aspiring musicians and to present a superb concert series for music lovers. A program of this calibre requires significant financial commitment. Your support ensures the participation of deserving young artists, some of whom would otherwise be unable to attend our 2021 program. Whatever your level of support, know you’ll be contributing to keeping great music and spectacular musicians a vibrant part of our community!
