The refinishing work was completed by participants in The Wellness Group in support of Home Again Furniture Bank. The Wellness Group fosters connections and brings together community members to promote and support mental wellness.

This auction is brought to you by Eastern Health's Wellness Group in support of Home Again Furniture Bank. The Wellness Group fosters  community and connections to promote and support mental wellness. 
 
Wellness Group participants met regularly to learn the skills to lovingly restore and upcycle solid wood furniture. They created beautiful and unique furniture pieces to auction. All profits will be donated to support the work of Home Again. 
 
Home Again Furniture Bank is a local non-profit organization that aims to end furniture poverty in the Northeast Avalon region. To do this, they collect, and redistribute, gently-used furniture to individuals and families referred by partner agencies. www.homeagainfb.ca 
 
This project used paint and supplies donated by The Paint Shop. Most furniture pieces will be displayed at The Paint Shop locations across the city (Torbay, Topsail and Kenmount Roads).
