This sculpture is sculpted from a local stone in the Conception Bay South area.  It is made from one piece of stone by Nathaniel Thomas Noel.  Nathaniel has been sculpting for almost 40 years.  As a Geologist he is able to work with different types of stone for his art.  His pieces can be found in private and state art collections around the world, including HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
