Antique Secretary drop down desk with glass door bookcase. There is a beveled mirror above the drop-down desk. The desk, three drawers and bookcase have their own keys. Beautiful, detailed hardware. The drawer is manufactured using Knapp Joint and the varied engraving on the piece give it added appeal. The Knapp Joint occurred at the start of mass production of furniture in the United States and was popular from 1871-1900. There is one small repair on the drop-down desk. 42 1/2 inches wide, 16 1/2 inches deep and 71 inches tall. Mercy Convent Collection
