Auction Terms and Conditions

By bidding you agree with the Terms and Conditions of this auction sale. Bidders can register online at www.bartlettauctions.com only. You are free to watch the auction live-stream online but please note that if you decide to bid, it takes a few moments to fill out the registration form and you cannot bid without registering.

As Is Where Is - All items are presented and sold ‘as is where is’ with no warranties expressed or implied, unless otherwise stated. Your own personal inspection during viewing, any research you conduct, takes precedent over all other representations. Items may be removed or added, without notice, at the sole discretions of the auctioneer. To help in your decision making, all vehicles are sold with CarFax Reports in the Document section and a list of any known repairs needed is posted with the vehicle.

Reserves - Vehicles will have a Reserve or Minimum Bid amount required to sell. This is different than Suggested Opening Bid - We consider the high bid 'Subject to Owner Approval' and a their decision to sell, negotiate or hold the bid for further consideration is possible. The Hickman Automotive Group may choose to accept, decline or counter offer. The auctioneer will facilitate this with full transparency. If your Max-Bid is less than reserve, it will be accepted in full for consideration. If your Max-Bid is higher than reserve, the system will only place your bid at the reserve.

In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer holds sole discretion in its resolution. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal, re-offering or adjusting the terms of the item in dispute. The auctioneer’s decision is final.

Good Faith Deposit - For this auction, with a large range of vehicle values, we require a $500 Good Faith Deposit to bid. We will pre-authorize the card you have on file to expediate this or, it can come in the form of a Certified Cheque, Cash, Wire Transfer or e-transfer instead of Credit Card. Please contact admin@bartlettauctions.com to arrange. This is 100% refundable if you are unsuccessful in your bid. We will hold the deposit until full payment is received within two business days of the auction. Please call to discuss if you have any questions.

There is no Buyer’s Fee for this auction. Harmonized Sales Tax applies to all vehicles offered.

Payment - All payments will be collected by Hickman Automotive Group - successful bidders will be contacted to make final arrangements or can call Hickman Automotive Group at 709-726-6990 - we ask that you arrange for a certified cheque, etransfer or wire transfer within two business days of the sale. Hickman Automotive Group will retain possession of all items until full payment has been received and cleared.
