1940s Vintage Lufkin "Brick Mason's Rule" White Wood Folding Tape Measure/Extension Ruler
I've included a link that explains, Brick Mason's Rule. Very interesting.

This folding measure tape was Macgyvered. One side it goes from 1 - 36",inches where it looks broken off.
Turn it over and it starts at 37" inches and extends to 72" inches. It was a 6 foot long measuring tape but now its a 3 foot measuring tape that still measures up to 6 feet.
Was it too lbulky to haul around and was adapted? Or was it split in two to share? Always two sides to the story.
Neat patina, easy to read, great folding ruler, even with the break.
In good preowned vintage condition.
