This auction features a staggered, soft close - beginning at 7PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, one lot will close every 20 seconds until complete. If a bid is received in the final 45 seconds, the countdown clock resets to 45 seconds for that lot only.

Buyer’s Fee – a 10% Buyer’s Fee will be applied to the purchaser’s total before HST. Harmonized Sales Tax applies to all items offered and all services rendered.

Rare antiquarian maps including 'The Americas' by Sebastian Munster c1580. Said to be the first work to show the Americas in their "correct" continental form. Newfoundland is among the cluster of "fantastic" islands in the north-east and shown as "Demoni" - the Island of Demons - along with Frisland and St. Brendan.
