There is a reference in Ron Rompkey's 'A Life Composed' to three 'iceberg' watercolours completed by Shepherd in 1988. One is featured in the book on page 80 called 'Grounded Iceberg, Ship Cove' and the others are called 'Iceberg, Conception Bay' and 'Iceberg of 1988'. This is likely one of those two mentioned. Piece was inspected out of frame but no distinguishing information was found.
Original acid-free framing material used. Slight foxing but overall, very good condition. Painted on heavy watercolour paper.
