An exquisite framed original ink drawing of the historic Town of Trinity from above Fisher's Cove by artist Jean Ball.
The drawing depicts part of the town and includes Fort Point Light House and Skerwink in the background and shows St. Paul's Anglican Church and the Church of the Most Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church (the oldest wooden church in Newfoundland and Labrador) along with many other properties.
Measures 34" x 22" framed.
This drawing along with others by Jean Ball was completed for a publication by the Newfoundland Historic Trust titled "Ten Historic Towns" A signed copy of this book accompanies this framed line drawing.
Jean Ball was a resident of Exploits and St. John’s . She was an active member of the Newfoundland Historic Trust for decades . In 1975, the Newfoundland Historic Trust published “A Gift of Heritage”, the first of two books dealing with historic architecture of the island of Newfoundland. This volume illustrated 45 properties in St. John’s. The second publication, :Ten Historic Towns" focused attention on communities throughout the island of Newfoundland.

For fairness and ease of bid management, this auction features a Staggered, Soft-Close.
- STAGGERED - for example on Monday, December 4th - Lot #1 will close at 7 pm, all subsequent lots will close twenty seconds apart until done.
- SOFT-CLOSE - If a bid is received in the final 45 seconds before a lot closes, the countdown will reset to 45 seconds for that lot only. The lot will finally close when no bids are received in the final 45 seconds. No other scheduled closing times are affected, only the active lot.
Auction will end when last item closes and invoices will be automatically sent to the email on file. Please check your Junk Mail if you do not receive the invoice or, go to your Account on the main page of the auction website to click and pay from the credit card you have on file or another card. Those pledging a cash donation will be receipted separately from the auction activity.

Auction Removal Times
Successful bidders can pick up their items from 221 Duckworth St, St. John's Tuesday, December 5th from 12-6 pm.
If the successful bidder is unable to pick up an item on Tuesday, other arrangements can be accommodated. Please contact Jim Miller at email@example.com or 709-464-3599
If arrangements are not completed within a week for pick-up, item will default to next highest bidder.

Hours for preview will be from 12 noon to 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 2nd, 12 noon to 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 3rd and 4 – 7 pm on Monday, December 4th.
