WHY CONNECT THE TRAILS?

Connecting the Manuels River trail system will be a magnificent achievement for Manuels River and the community. The vision behind the Connect the Trails campaign has been to upgrade our rugged trail and develop new sections of our trail system to be accessible to whoever would like to use the trails for their personal use, for free.

With your help, we can continue our vision to upgrade and connect the remaining sections of our trail system. Your support can help us add much-needed wayfinding signage and markings along our trails to ensure the safety of trail users, especially people who are unfamiliar with the Manuels River trail system. Our electronic trail counters capture over 200K trail users annually; many of whom share with us the importance of our trails to their mental health and overall well-being.

We have worked hard since 2020 to fund the development and upgrades of both Ocean Trail East and Canyon Trail East, but there is much work to be done. If you support our Auction, we can start to work towards upgrading the Bubble Pond Lookout trail, creating a safe vista point at Bubble Pond Lookout, replacing the worn-out wooden steps, and extending our trail from Martha’s Place to the ocean on the west side of the Manuels River. Connecting our trails connects our community.
