The Church of the Good Samaritan partners with the Arms of Jesus Children’s Mission to better the lives of children living in poverty in Paramos, Guatemala.
This work focuses on:
- building homes for families and children living in extreme poverty
- working at the K-12 school and the trade school to help resource the educational needs of the young people
- providing basic medical supplies to stock the nurses’ station at the mission
- meeting spiritual needs of children who attend the mission
We believe that as families and children have sufficient food, a secure house, and an education, they are able to support themselves, and face the future with stability and hope.
In March 2025 a team of Good Samaritan people will return to Guatemala  - 100% proceeds from this auction will be used by the team for “on the ground” work while there.
