95 Wine Spectator

Subtle yet aromatic character of Indian spices, currants and dried cherries. Full-bodied, with super well-integrated tannins and a long, caressing finish. Wonderful texture. Classy and structured. Long. This was wine of the year in 1998; well deserved.

Your items can be picked up at Rainbow Riders on Mount Scio Road - Thursday and Friday, August 29-30 from 8:30am to 6pm. Lots can only be released to those 19 years or older.

For almost 34 years, Rainbow Riders has provided a therapeutic riding program and, unmounted equine therapeutic programs which have helped countless Newfoundland and Labrador children grow and develop despite physical, cognitive and mental health disabilities – through horseback riding and the healing power of horses.

By uniting these children with an equine partner, instructor and a team of volunteers, Rainbow Riders provides the participant with one of the more progressive forms of therapy, improving the rider's strength, circulation, muscle tone and sensory integration. Along with the many physical benefits, the social and emotional benefits are significant. Self-confidence builds, communication and self-regulation skills improve, overall well-being.

With limited financial resources, Rainbow Riders operates from a full-time facility that houses 18 horses and ponies and provides an indoor riding arena to support year-round operation. As the only facility of its kind in NL, Rainbow Riders changes lives every day for our young participants living with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Anxiety and everything in between.

Over the last several years, we have expanded in response to the overwhelming demand for our programs. We want to thank you for being a part of the community that made that growth possible. We are proud to say we have broadened our program offerings and increased our registration to 125+ participants, still more are waiting.

Your bid can make a significant difference in our ability to continue offering these life-changing programs.

Thank you so much for your support. With your help, we can continue to make a difference in our community!
