By bidding you agree with the Terms and Conditions of this auction sale. Bidders can register online at www.bartlettauctions.com, at viewing and any time during the auction sale. You are free to watch online but please note that if you decide to bid, it takes a few moments to fill out the registration form and you cannot bid without registering.
YOU MUST HAVE A CREDIT CARD ON FILE TO BID. TO DO SO, LOG IN AND GO TO YOUR ACCOUNT. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO SO BEFORE BIDDING BEGINS. ONSITE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE A CREDIT CARD TO GET A BID NUMBER OR, $300 CASH DEPOSIT. NO EXCEPTION.
FYI: WE DO NOT SEE, OR HAVE ACCESS TO, YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. IT IS SECURED BY THE LARGEST ONLINE MERCHANT PROVIDER, STRIPE.COM AND THEIR SECURITY PROTOCOLS ARE INDUSTRY LEADING.
When bidding live on the auction floor, please use your bidding card and number.
All items are presented and sold ‘as is where is’ with no warranties expressed or implied. Items may be removed or added, without notice, at the sole discretions of the auctioneer.
Some items in most every sale will have a Reserve or Minimun Bid amount required to sell. This is different than Opening Bid - We consider these Subject to Owner Approval and a call will be made to the estate or owner with the high bid. They may choose to accept, decline or counter offer. The auctioneer will facilitate this with full transparency.
The auctioneer will provide as much relevant information as has been confirmed. Your own investigation takes precedent over all other representations.
In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer holds sole discretion in its resolution. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal, re-offering or adjusting the terms of the item in dispute. The auctioneer’s decision is final.
Buyer’s Fee – a 10% Buyer’s Fee will be applied to the purchaser’s total before HST. Harmonized Sales Tax applies to all items offered and all services rendered.
Pay by VISA, MasterCard, American Express. In person you also have the option of paying with Interac, or cash. Using e-transfer or certified cheque may require more time so please allow for this especially on sale day when hundreds of bidders may be active. Government issued ID required for bidders using certified cheques. The auctioneer will retain possession of all items until full payment has been received and cleared.
All items are to be removed from the venue following payment and are done so at the expense and discretion of the new owner. Please arrange with the venue management if you require more time to remove your purchases. The auctioneer does not take responsibility for, or insure your items against, loss or damage.
If you require crating and shipping we are happy to help arrange though the expense is borne by the winning bidder, best to discuss prior to bidding. Shipping art under glass is not advised.
