By bidding you agree with the Terms and Conditions of this auction sale. 

Bidders can register online at www.bartlettauctions.com only. Because of COVID-19, we will have scheduled viewing times following the current government of NL guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers is first and foremost.

You are free to watch online but please note that if you decide to bid, it takes a few moments to fill out the registration form and you cannot bid without registering. YOU MUST HAVE A CREDIT CARD ON FILE TO BID. FOR THIS AUCTION, TO ADD A CREDIT CARD, LOG IN AND GO TO YOUR ACCOUNT. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO SO BEFORE BIDDING BEGINS. FYI: WE DO NOT SEE, OR HAVE ACCESS TO, YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. IT IS SECURED BY THE LARGEST ONLINE MERCHANT PROVIDER, STRIPE.COM AND THEIR SECURITY PROTOCOLS ARE INDUSTRY LEADING.

All items are presented and sold ‘as is where is’ with no warranties expressed or implied. Items may be removed or added, without notice, at the sole discretions of the auctioneer. Some items in most every sale will have a Reserve or Minimun Bid amount required to sell. This is different than Opening Bid - We consider these Subject to Owner Approval and a call will be made to the estate or owner with the high bid. They may choose to accept, decline or counter offer. The auctioneer will facilitate this with full transparency.

In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer holds sole discretion in its resolution. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal, re-offering or adjusting the terms of the item in dispute. The auctioneer’s decision is final.

This auction/sale is online with viewing available Monday November 16, 2020 10AM - 8PM.

This auction features a staggered, soft close - beginning at 8PM November 16, 2020, one lot will close every minute until complete. If a bid is received in the final two minutes, two minutes are added to that lot only.

Buyer’s Fee – a 10% Buyer’s Fee will be applied to the purchaser’s total before HST. Harmonized Sales Tax applies to all items offered and all services rendered.

Pay by cash, etransfer, Wire, Certified Cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express. (If you choose the credit card payment option there is a 3% premium added to the purchase to cover credit card fees.) The auctioneer will retain possession of all items until full payment has been received and cleared.

Out of respect for the priorities of the day and COVID-19 protocols, items are for DELIVERY or scheduled PICKUP only.  Immediately following the auction you will receive a notification with full details on these schedules.

All Items must be paid for within 24 hours following the sale; buyers must ensure the address on their profile is the delivery address they want.

All items, paid in advance, must be picked up from the Capital Hotel on Kenmount Road, St. John's, NL on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 9am to 6pm ONLY.

We have been retained by Grant Thornton Limited, in its capacity as Court Appointed Receiver for Sports Villas Resort, Inc. (dba Terra Nova Golf Resort), to auction the following assets - Original works by Cliff George, Scott Goudie, Janice Udell, Julia Pickard, James Miller, Ian Sparkes, Harold Goodridge, Stewart Montgomerie, Ed Roche, Richard Steele, Stirling Blackwood, Ben Gillard, Gary Kennedy, Tish Holland and many more. 

This auction also features estate art and antiques including works by David Blackwood RCA, Robert Pilot, RCA, Jean Claude Roy, A.E. Harris, Ted Stuckless and others. Antique furniture dating back to the 17th century and more.

*Only two lots in this auction are subject to estate approval. All other lots are UNRESERVED, selling to the highest bidder.
