Session #3 - From the Passionate Life of Bob Cole - June 7th-17th, 2025

Bob Cole was best known as “the Voice of Hockey Night in Canada” for 50 years. But at some point in his 90 years, he was also an athlete, a pilot, a radio DJ, a fish processor and a Brier skip. He brought an intensity to everything he loved, and his many passions extended far beyond hockey: aviation, war history, music, the American mafia, baseball, curling, soccer, golf, rowing and his beloved Newfoundland home. Bob was honoured during his life with an honorary doctorate from Memorial University of Newfoundland, an induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and was a Member of the Order of Canada.
